As the new Executive Director for Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway I am excited to announce big things are happening in the coming weeks. I have only been here three weeks and I have already seen the incredible impact Speedway Children’s Charities has on the North Texas community.
Tomorrow I will be heading to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children where they will unveil the CADCAM they purchased after being awarded the Major General Thomas Sadler Founder’s Grant last year. The Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CADCAM), helps Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children provide better and more efficient treatment for scoliosis patients as well as patients with prosthetic needs. We are very excited to see firsthand the impact it has on the lives of children in North Texas.
If you want to be a part of making a difference in the lives of children living in North Texas, mark your calendars and plan to join us this November as we continue our fundraising efforts. Check out the lineup!
November 3rd: Join us on the hill at Circle T Ranch for our annual Celebrity Clay Shoot. The field is full, but we still need volunteers. That same evening we will be at Main Event in Grapevine hanging out with our good friend Kurt Busch for the Kurt Busch Celebrity Bowling Tournament. Not only do we need volunteers, but we still have lane sponsorships available. They are going fast so contact us today if you are interested!
Last but certainly not least, don’t forget to join us in Hospitality Village thirty minutes after the checkered flag on Saturday November 5, for the No Limits experience Live Auction at Texas Motor Speedway. This is your chance to grab once in a lifetime items you can’t get anywhere else! You don’t want to miss it.
For more information on how you can get involved, to make your reservations at the bowling tournament or to volunteer at one or both of these events, please call 817-215-8421.
