Texas Motor Speedway recently unveiled its "No Limits" Wild Asphalt Circus theme and the look will be featured on the medals for its "No Limits" Half Marathon & 5k Benefitting Speedway Children's Charities-Texas Chapter scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27.

FORT WORTH, Texas (August 16, 2012) - The Tony Stewart "Smoke Show," an annual fantasy stock-car camp at Texas Motor Speedway hosted by NASCAR's three-time Sprint Cup Series champion, celebrated its fifth year Wednesday by reaching the $1 million milestone for funds raised for Speedway Children's Charities-Texas Chapter.

Speedway Children’s Charities participated in the Daytona 500 Watch Party held at Texas Motor Speedway this past Sunday, February 26^th. SCC enjoys attending events like these because it gives us a chance to interact with NASCAR fans and allows us to promote future SCC events that may interest them!

Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway is excited that Ben E. Keith will be returning for the 12^th year to sponsor our Tree Lighting and Grant Ceremony. The holiday spirit continues with the help of Santa Claus, as we light the largest living Christmas tree in Texas and honor those receiving grants in the North Texas area.  The program begins at 6pm.   Following the ceremony all guests are invited to participate in one complimentary trip through the Gift of Lights, a 1.7-mile route of sparkling holiday displays made with over 1 million energy-efficient LED lights, all within the comfort of your own car.

Hallie Bea is 3 years old, and has been diagnosed with Diamond Blackfan Anemia. Diamond Blackfan Anemia is a very rare bone marrow failure.  Hallie’s family has been tested and are not a match for little Hallie.

The auction will take place on Friday, April 8th at 4 pm in the 9th floor Grand Ballroom of The Speedway Club. These are some of the most unique experiences you can find at any NASCAR race.

Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway supports the healing counseling that sexually abused girls and boys ages five through sixteen receive at Alliance For Children. Through the sixteen week group counseling curriculum children learn that they are not alone, that other children have gone through similar experiences and that together with other children in the group they will heal.

Playful jabs have been thrown, Crocs have been crushed and water has been boiled to intimidating perfection, but the “Smack Talk” war of words – and video – between the Asphalt Chef competitors is just heating up.

Celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Guy Fieri and Tim Love, along with Foreigner’s lead singer Kelly Hansen, have taken to YouTube with videos fueling the rivalry leading up to the Asphalt Chef grilling competition at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday, Nov. 6, that will benefit the Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas Chapter and the Mario Batali Foundation.

Gentlemen, start your grills. Superstar celebrity chef Mario Batali is teaming up with Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas Chapter to present the Asphalt Chef cooking competition during November’s AAA Texas 500 NASCAR triple-header weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

The "Smoke Show," a driving school extravaganza hosted by two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart, raised a one-day total of $202,000 to push the program's three-year charitable donations for SCC-Texas to $676,000. The "Smoke Show" remains the highest-grossing, single-day event for the Speedway Children's Charities-Texas Chapter.

Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage admitted Thursday that his $100,000 challenge to Terry Dorsey, host of the Dorsey Gang morning show on Dallas/Fort Worth country music radio station 96.3 KSCS, was indeed an April Fool’s Day prank.

Transforming the child abuse system, the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center provides a child-friendly environment where a skilled team of professionals come together under one roof to investigate serious child abuse allegations, conduct forensic interviews to aid in the prosecution of offenders, and provide therapy and victim assistance services to the child abuse victims and their non-offending family members.

Speedway Children's Charities-Texas Chapter raised $541,200 for children in need in North Texas as a result of its Dickies 500 race week activities.

In the 2008-2009 academic year, 83% of KinderFrogs families received scholarship support. Speedway Childrens Charities is always plays a major role in providing those scholarships.

Less than 24 hours after posting a 10th-place finish at Pocono, two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart found himself in the cockpit again Tuesday but his objectives were not the pursuit of victory or maintaining his points lead.

The support of Speedway Children's Charities has been instrumental in allowing our residents to fully participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, cheerleading or drill team, ROTC and academic or arts clubs.

Former Development Director Of Children's Advocacy Center In Denton Joins Record-Setting SCC-Texas Chapter

For 10 years, Speedway Children's Charities has ensured a safer ride for children through their support of child car passenger seat safety check events conducted by Injury Prevention specialists from Children's Medical Center.

Since 2000, Speedway Children's Charities has donated more than $48,000 to the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth, with a majority of those funds applied towards the agency's "Meals of the Heart" program.

Companies, local restaurants, civic organizations, schools, churches and other volunteer groups provide dinner for houseguests.  Most of the overnight guests at the Ronald McDonald House spend many long hours at Cook Children's, and are often comforted upon their return by a hot, nutritious meal served with a smile. 

For the past 12 years, Variety the Children’s Charity of North Texas has been presenting underprivileged youth from across North Texas with a special gift prior to their summer vacation. This gift is that of a brand new bicycle of their very own.

The overwhelming majority of the more than 1,200 children that have participated in this program since its inception had never owned a bicycle of their own. Others had never experienced the thrill of receiving a brand new bike.
