Texas Motor Speedway, in partnership with the NASCAR Foundation and the Hendrick Marrow Program, will host the second annual Blood and Marrow Drive on Saturday from 1-5 p.m. CT in the Lone Star Tower Clubhouse and from 5-10 p.m. CT in the infield of Texas Motor Speedway. The event, organized by Speedway Children's Charities-Texas Chapter will benefit Carter Blood Care and the National Marrow Donor Program at Cook Children's Hospital. Participants are encouraged to pre-register for the Blood Drive at TMS by contacting Marty Stone at Carter Blood Care at (817) 412-5387.

Texas Motor Speedway also will open up the race track to the public Saturday for "Laps for Charity II" presented by Speedway Children's Charities-Texas Chapter. For a $30 donation, fans can take three laps around "The Great American Speedway!" behind a pace vehicle. Photos in Victory Lane also will be available for an additional $10 donation. Laps will be conducted from 5-7 p.m. CT for car clubs (by reservation) and 7-10 p.m. CT for the public.

A new limited number of VIP packages also are available that include a five-lap session around TMS, a three-lap Corvette ride with the Texas Driving Experience, a complimentary event t-shirt, complimentary photograph in Victory Lane, a two-week trial membership to The Speedway Club and dinner for two this Saturday in The Speedway Club Starlight Dining Room.
