Children's Medical Center making life better for children
For 10 years, Speedway Children's Charities has ensured a safer ride for children through their support of child car passenger seat safety check events conducted by Injury Prevention specialists from Children's Medical Center. Held throughout North Texas at car dealerships, health clinics, and schools, these events provide free car seats to families in need, and offer specially designed seats to special needs children. Safety education for parents, training for child passenger safety technicians, and community seminars are also made possible with the generous support of Speedway Children's Charities.
The Children's Injury Prevention team is committed to preventing unintentional injury to children through research, advocacy, family-centered hospital services, and community initiatives. These objectives are made possible with support from friends like Speedway Children's Charities.
